I found this precious image taken using my old Sony Ericsson T610 in 2005.

The object in the picture is the Calgary Tower viewed from 40th floor of Bankers Hall where I spent four months doing my internship. Back then, cell phone camera was still vga, hence the quality.

Chicken Curry Rice at Shogun Restaurant

My lunch today was chicken curry rice. The portion is big (imho). I think that’s because I still have the tendency to compare it to food in Calgary. The price was $8. The restaurant is located at Dunsmuir & Hornby, downtown Vancouver. The taste was pretty good.

So I tried the famous Japadog in Vancouver today. I ordered cheese terimayo spicy. Hmmm…it’s jalapeno cheese sausage topped with cheese, mayo, and seaweed. For $6.25, it may be something you want to try for once a year or lifetime, not on regular basis. They do have unique hotdogs, good business plan, but it is just me who can’t afford it that often

I tried the Japadog at Burrard & Pender St, in front of Scotia Bank.

Double arch rainbow

On the way back to Calgary today, it was the first time I saw a double arch rainbow from end to end. When I see rainbow, I remember the card I always keep in my wallet. The card has Noah’s ark with rainbow and it’s written “God keeps His promises”
