It is now live for the Vancouver lower mainland. Here‘s my office building! There is still glitch though…if you step forward from the above location, it takes you into the crack alley behind the Bosman (i.e. cheap motel across our building). Pheww….a little peak into the Vancouver underbelly…thank you Google! :p
Btw, somehow I think the Bosman is famous among movie/film directors. So far in a month I’ve seen the Supernatural was filmed there, and another movie was also filmed in the crack alley, complete with artificial snow. Hmmmm….
There are currently 17 million iPhones worldwide; 10 million in the US; 400,000 in Canada, and the rest internationally. That’s a pretty small number considering 1.6 billion handsets are sold each year, so the growth potential is huge.
On average, people get a new handset every 14 months.
I just downloaded Firefox 3.5 today. They said it’s faster, snappier, more secure, etc. Personally I haven’t seen the big difference in term of the speed. But I like the new feature of right-click saving videos. Other features are private browsing which is similar to incognito mode in Google Chrome which I never use anyway since I never keep browsing history, cookies, etc.
Anyway, at least I know Firefox is still being developed and improved. For detail of new features, click here.
